Sonali Nadkarni holds dual qualifications in law and biological sciences. She practices in dispute resolution, with a special focus on patents, utility innovations, life sciences and trademarks. She has assisted in a wide range of contentious intellectual property matters, from infringement proceedings before the High Court of Malaya to intellectual property prosecution. Her practice includes advising on intellectual property issues for a number of distinguished international and local clients, as well as in commercial disputes relating to contract and company.

Sonali Nadkarni graduated from Imperial College London with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biological Sciences (Hons.). Her interests in this area lay specifically in ecology, resource management, and immunology. She later completed the Bar Professional Training Course at City, University of London. In the same year, she received her Master of Laws (LLM) and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya subsequently.
