Xiao Jun focuses on corporate and commercial in her legal practice. Her experience encompasses advising local and foreign corporation in various corporate exercises, from incorporation of companies by foreign entities, cross-border initial public offering (IPO), due diligence exercise, to acquisition or disposal of business.
She advises and drafts various commercial agreements including partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, distribution agreements and share sale agreements. With her prior experience in litigation, Xiao Jun delivers comprehensive solution when addressing her clients’ business needs.
A native speaker in mandarin, she delivers seminars on doing business in Malaysia to foreign mandarin-speaking clients. She has contributed substantially to the Malaysian chapter of a law book published by a leading Chinese law firm based in Shanghai, China.
Outside of legal practice, Xiao Jun is currently recognised by the International Table Tennis Federation as ITTF- PTT Level 1 Coaching Course Conductor. She was a table tennis national player and her best achievement was winning the bronze medal (Team Event) in the Commonwealth Games 2010 held in New Delhi, India. Driven by her huge passion in sports, Xiao Jun completed the AIAC Certificate Programme in Sports Arbitration and is qualified to represent parties in sports disputes.
Xiao Jun graduated from the University of Malaya with Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) and was called to the Malaysian Bar.
